Asif Ali Jah is the General Secretary of the Local Councils Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Secretary General’s role is to:

• assist the Secretariat to maintain the minutes of the Executive Committee, Board of Governors and General Body of The Association.
• issue notices of meetings of The General Body, The Board of Governors, the Coordination and Management Committee and other bodies when directed to do so by the Convener and Secretariat of The Association.
• maintain a register of members in which name and address of every member of LCA KP is entered.
• be responsible for the maintenance and updating of a register of all governing bodies, commissions and permanent committees of LCA KP including their members and addresses.
