Local Councils Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has developed “Councilor’s Guide” to better understand their roles & responsibilities, functions of councils, and powers of the head of councils. This will help Councilors to be most effective in their role when working for villages, towns, and cities. This guide will not only useful for councilors but common citizens also. This will also help those who intend to participate in upcoming elections of Local Governments. By considering their role, they may identify challenges facing their constituencies and develop local plans to mitigate them.
